Ferenc Suszter
IFH-WC-Judge & IGP-WC-Chief Judge (Supervisor)
I am 50 years old, married and father of two beautiful children. I have been dealing with dog training since my childhood. I have been training service dogs for protection, tracking and searching for 30 years. I have been working as a police officer in Budapest, Hungary. At the present I am training and working with tracking dogs and searching dogs in the Hungarian police.
Beside my profession I have been doing the dog sport as a hobby since 1995. During that time, I had trained 10 dogs for IGP 3 level. They were all world championship participant. And 8 dogs were National Champion with me. I managed to participate on 17 world championships. Our best result was the 5th place with Sentinel Pike in FCI World Championship in 2012. And of course, the second place was a big honour with the Hungarian team on the same world championship.
I have been an international working dog judge for 15 years and a regular participant in international judge training courses
As a judge, I judged the tracking discipline 4 times at the FMBB World Championships and once at the 2019 FCI World Championships.
I am very grateful to the Organizers for giving me the opportunity to be a judge at the IFR IFH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2025
At the moment I train with my 3 malinois, which are service dogs. One of them also works in IGP, and the other successfully trained in Mondioring. This year, I came in 1st place with my IGP-trained dog in a CACIT and FCI World Championship qualification competition.
In the course of my training, I prefer positive reinforcement. My purpose is working with my dogs in the greatest harmony next to high motivation. In tracking, it is important to me that the dog searches willingly, with high motivation and concentration. I like dogs that solve potential problem situations independently and freely during tracking, and love tracking at least as much as I do!
I wish all participants effective preparation so they can show their dogs in the best shape on this prestigious competition!

IGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS Judge B discipline
I am deeply honored to have been selected as a judge for the B discipline at the IFR IGP World Championship for Rottweilers 2025 in Hungary. This prestigious event brings together the best teams from around the world, and it is a privilege to contribute to the competition as a judge.
My journey with world championships began long before this moment. I have had the opportunity to experience them in various roles—first as a spectator, later as a competitor, and now, with great pride, as a judge. I competed at IFR World Championships in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2017, 2018, and 2019, gaining invaluable experience and insight into the sport at the highest level. My goal is to ensure that all competitors receive a thorough, fair and objective assessment, recognizing their hard work and dedication, from the first dog till last.
I have been actively involved in cynology since 1990 and have dedicated my life to the sport. Over the years, I have judged numerous international, national, and regional trials and shows, both in IGP and confirmation. Each competition has given me the opportunity to further develop my expertise and deepen my appreciation for the dedication that handlers and dogs bring to the sport.
Beyond judging, I am also a passionate breeder, raising Rottweilers under the kennel name "Tri Zvezde." I have always been fascinated by the Rottweiler breed, not only for their physical strength and working ability but also for their intelligence, loyalty, and strong character. A well-bred and well-trained Rottweiler is a truly remarkable dog—a confident worker, a reliable protector, and a devoted companion. Shortly a breed that is the closest to my heart.
It is a great honor to be entrusted with the role of a judge at this prestigious IFR IGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP in HUNGARY, especially as someone who has dedicated so much of my life to the sport and to the Rottweiler breed. I look forward to seeing the hard work, dedication, and passion of all competitors come to life on the field.
To all competitors, I wish you successful preparations and an unforgettable experience at the IFR IGP World Championship 2025 Hungary. May this event be a celebration of the incredible bond between handler and dog, and of the Rottweiler's outstanding working abilities.
